In this section we will discuss what you can do if you have been trying for a year and have still not conceived
What can I do if I haven't conceived?
If you have been having frequent unprotected sex for about a year, your GP may refer you and your spouse for tests, to check fertility.
The tests which may be performed are:
Hormone Tests
Semen analysis
Post-coital test
Physical examination
What do I do if there is something wrong?
The results of the tests may show that there is something wrong or they may not show up anything. If something is found your GP can advise you on the best treatment. If no reason is found for your infertility, you could still conceive on your own but youmay not. IVF can often be used to help people in this situation.
