Beanie baby
Here are some cool beanie baby toys which we think your kids will love - and maybe you too.| Waddle is all dressed and ready to shuffle over to your house. As his tag reads, he was "the first of two penguins to be made by Ty. He was retired in April of 1998." Waddle's body is black and white with yellow at the throat; short-napped bright orange fabric adorns his beak and feet. This penguin also has plastic eyes and a shell made from 100 percent Tylon, a Ty Inc. exclusive manmade fabric that has the most luxurious feel you'll find on a plush toy. Waddle's insides consist of polyester fiber and PE pellets in a cloth bag. He makes a wonderful toy or addition to a collection. Surface wash only. --Peggy Etra |
| Nuts the Squirrel is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed just for you. He was born January 21, 1996, and his poem reads: With his bushy tail, he'll scamper up a tree The most cheerful critter you'll ever see, He's nuts about nuts, and he loves to chat Have you ever seen a squirrel like that? Nuts is sitting up on his haunches ready for you to give him a treat. He has a brown body with a cream-colored underbelly and inner ears. Black button eyes and a triangular black button nose with brown thread whiskers decorate his eager face. Behind him is his pride and joy: a big beautiful bushy tail. Surface wash only. --Peggy Etra |
| This friendly looking dragon has soft fur in subtle and unusual shades of purple, tan, and mauve. Dragon the Beanie Buddy would be perfectly camouflaged in a mountain cave but for that bright red tongue and those incredibly shiny red and gold iridescent wings. Its long thick tail and olive green scales and toes are also reminders of its reptilian origins. This cuddly creature, measuring 10 inches from head to foot, would make a fun and fanciful addition to your Beanie collection. --Elisabeth Fredrickson |
