We all hear the woman talking about how great pregnancy is and how much she enjoyed the experience. Makes you want to scream. Pregnancy changes your body so much it is nearly impossible not to have some complications

Lets start off with the old favourite - morning sickness, or should I say morning, lunchtime, evening and night sickness. This affects most pregnant women to some degree

Fatigue is another common pregnancy complaint. The lack of energy is understandable afterall you are supporting 2 bodies, carrying a lot more weight and your internal organs are under pressure.

Breast tenderness is also quite common among pregnant women. You may find your breasts feel sore and swollen around the time that the pregnancy test comes back positive, particularly if you're pregnant for the first time. Fortunately, this extreme tenderness tends to ease up fairly quickly.

High levels of the hormone progesterone cause the muscles of the intestine to get a little weaker when you're pregnant which can result in constipation.

Another unfortunate side affect of pregnancy is Hemorrhoids. They occur when pressure from the baby's head causes the veins around the anus to swell. You can minimize the discomfort by applying an ice pack or prescription ointment to the affected area. Keep the area around your anus clean and dont strain when you're having a bowel movement.

Backache is a common problem especially in later pregnancy.

Heartburn is also a common complaint, but it is not true that suffering from heartburn means that you will have a boy.

It's hardly surprising that you find yourself feeling out of breath each time you climb a flight of stairs. You are sharing your lungs with your passenger. There's not much you can do about this particular complaint but count down the days until you deliver , only then will the pressure on your lungs ease off.

Insomnia - Whether it's caused by anxiety about the coming birth or the physical discomforts of pregnancy, insomnia is a common complaint during pregnancy. Try exercising regularly.

Braxton Hicks contractions are the irregular contractions that occur during the last half of pregnancy as your body starts to do some practise for the main event. Again there is not much you can do but just endure them and count down to labor day.
