Baby's Development
  • Length - 17.5 inches or 444 mm long
  • Weight - about 2500 gram
  • She is gaining about 1 ounce every day.
  • She is practicing breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid, sometimes resulting in hiccups.
  • Her grasp becomes firmer and she will turn toward light.
Mother's Development - 37 pregnant week
  • You may be counting the days, but only 1 in 20 babies are born on their due date, so you may go earlier or even later, especially if it is your first baby.
  • You should have your hospital bag packed and be ready to go at any time.
  • If your baby is breech, you may need a cesarean or your doctor might recommend 'turning the baby' where your abdomen is manipulated in such a way that it turns head down.
