Mother's Development - 14 pregnant week
|
- You should be able to hear your baby's heartbeat with a dopler. If not an ultrasound can confirm a beating heart.
- The early symptoms of pregnancy may have improved but you may now experience some constipation because your bowel muscles are not working as hard as they were and your uterus is pressing on your bowel. Increase the fibre in your diet if constipation becomes a problem.
- The areolas (the dark area around the nipple) of your breasts may be darkening and growing in diameter as your body prepares for breastfeeding (whether you intend to or not|).
- Your uterus is about the size of a grapefruit.
