Health and beauty routine
The following are some tips which should help the pregnant woman to feel healthy and beautiful throughout pregnancy (well they should make you feel a little better anyway)- Rest - There is no substitute for rest especially during pregnancy . If things are going too fast, get help and try and slow down. Make sure you get adequate rest and relaxation. This will benefit both your health and beauty.
- Morning Sickness - Or "All day sickness", try and manage your morning sickness as best you can. Eat smaller portions more often, rather than large meals infrequently.
- Exercise - Light low impact exercise can be beneficial to both your health and beauty throughout pregnancy. If you have any complications, check with your doctor how much exercise you can or should do. Swimming is usually a good low impact exercise during pregnancy. Always consult your doctor before taking up a new exercise plan, especially when pregnant.
- Take Time out - We're back to rest and relaxation again. Especially in the later stages of pregnancy, try and take some beauty treatments or spend a day at a spa.
- Eat sensibly - You are not eating for two. Be sensible and eat healthy food. Avoid the foods not recommended for pregnant women e.g. liver, soft cheese etc.
- Mind your teeth - Believe it or not, your teeth can be affected during pregnancy. Nothing will make you feel unhealthy and look miserable more than a toothache. Dental health treatment is safe during pregnancy, and routine check-ups and cleaning can be extremely beneficial, if you require more, make sure your dentist knows you are pregnant.
- Healthy Mind - The old saying goes - Healthy mind, health body. Health and beauty go hand in hand, so a healthy mind is required. If you are stressed, consider yoga for pregnant mothers to help ease the stress.
